The ProForm 505 CST Treadmill Reviews

We are NOT runners by nature, so take this review for what it's worth, as my opinion is of people who are already in a position to vary run marathons. We are overweight but not obese, this machine should be able to up to £ 300, but none of us approaching the limit. That is, this machine is very stable, even though I do not exactly the most graceful of people jogging on it. The water in my water bottle does not even twitch. It is not silent, but you can listen to your music or the TV through them well enough, with a slightly increased volume.

This unit does not include the iFit module, currently, another $ 120 - $ 130 to buy - the service / website is then free for the first year and then $ 80/year thereafter. We went and bought it today. We are still Putzing around with settings, but you can configure it so that to upgrade to  ProForm 505 CST Treadmill  and it keeps track of all your workouts. You can have two different users to have a module, so that my husband and I shall be shown separately. You can burn your calorie intake and calorie counts of frequently eaten foods directly on the site and the possibility of entering calories on a freeform base. There are places to keep track of your measurements, etc. As you can see, it's a pretty nifty option ... That does not come standard with the unit and is honest, was one of the main reasons we bought it, thinking it did.

It's an iPod jack and wire that plugs into the headphone jack of your iPod. Playback is ok on the treadmill speakers. It is a little tinny, but ... yes, it's a treadmill not a stereo component. It fails with the earphones in, definitely.

The only thing I really do not like about this unit is the very oddly shaped, cubish, fairly shallow cubbies for water / remotes / whatever. I have a 24 oz water bottle and it just does not sit right in there. I was worried that it would fall out with the vibration, but, as I mentioned, not even move the water at a slow jog. (I have no higher than a slow jog just get ...) and the wired remote also sits oddly in the other Cubbie. I would have preferred a separate, apparently cupholders. As for the remote, I think I'll get a bit of adhesive backed Velcro to solve the problem.

The 10% slope and the top speed on this device uses more than the need for two fairly sedentary people straight back into active life. If you already all big and bad and buff, you are probably going to want to. Looking for something else that is tailored to your needs All in all a really good entry-level machine.
